How do I know if my child needs tutoring?

If your child has a D or F on his/her report card, is reluctant to do homework, or learns best in a small group setting, tutoring may be a way to enrich your child’s learning!

Do I need to sign a contract, or can I stop anytime?

Elevate Us Tutoring does not require a minimum number of tutoring sessions. You can stop sessions at any time.

What are the benefits of tutoring?

Tutoring can strengthen your child’s academic skills, support the development of new concepts, and boost his/her self-esteem!

Your child’s confidence in his/her abilities will help develop academic success at school and in life.

How often will my child receive a diagnostic assessment?

Your child will be reassessed on the diagnostic assessment every 3 months to identify gains made. The reassessment will also provide indicate areas for progression.

How long will my child need tutoring services?

Each child’s academic needs vary. Prior to receiving tutoring services, the tutor will conduct a diagnostic assessment to identify the academic needs your child has. A recommended tutoring plan will e developed based upon diagnostic results.

Where will my student access materials?

The tutor will provide a link to join the Google Classroom. Your child will have a file with their work along with grades for each activity during sessions.
